One of the broad objectives for next year's economic work highlighted in the Central Economic Working Conference 2012 is to promote urbanization, a historical mission for china’s modernization and main driver for domestic demand that should be actively and properly developed.

With funds raised in aggregate amount of around RMB 1.1 billion, this “Taiping Asset’s Debt Investment Plan of Urbanization Project in China- Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park” is in line with the spirit of Central Economic Working Conference and initiated by Taiping Asset Management Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of China Taiping Insurance Group Company. Suzhou Industrial Park is a national development region organized under the cooperation of Chinese and Singapore government. The funds will be used in construction of the Urbanization Project in Suzhou Industrial Park to promote the industrialization, urbanization and agriculture modernization in the region, economically develop the rural area around the industrial park and further facilitate the local sustainable economic growth.
