In the morning of April 14th, a check for RMB1,000,000.00 was handed over by Mr. Ding, the President of District Court of Pudong, to the chief representative of the Sri Lanka Section who was profoundly impressed by the high efficiency. The succinct ceremony marked the satisfactory resolution of the house leasing contract dispute between the Sri Lanka Section, represented by Mr. Wang Jianyi and Mr. Yang Hongliang of Jin Mao as attorneys at law, and a local property management company. The dispute was resolved through mediation which led to the return of the rent in full amount.

This far-reaching case becomes significant as it was the first case ever accepted by the EXPO Tribunal of  District Court of Pudong since its establishment. And this case will be generally known and recalled as "The First Case of the EXPO 2010".
