Rogers Wu, Jin Mao EHS Lawyer, Speech at HSE Association on the Revised Regulation of Work-related Injury Insurance

Invited by Jinshan HSE Association of Shanghai, on Dec 30th 2010, Rogers Wu, Jin Mao EHS lawyer, conducted the speech at the HSE Association’s annual conference regarding the revised Regulation of Work-related Injury Insurance. More than 60 persons from governmental departments including safety supervision authority, EPB and the companies including BP, Sinopec, Cognis, etc attended this conference.

Regulation of Work-related Injury Insurance, originally promulgated in 2003 and came into force on Jan 1st 2004, is revised by State Council and the new revision came into force on Jan 1st 2011. The revised contents include to widen the applications of the regulation, to adjust the conditions to be recognized as work-related injury, to simplify the recognition, review and litigation processes, to raised the compensation of work-related injury and reduce the items previously covered by the employers, etc.

Mr. Rogers Wu is experienced in helping the enterprises to handle the occupational illness cases and work-related injury. He is very familiar with the work-related injury and occupational illness laws/regulations and standards as well as the implementation. His speech focuses on the key points of the revision and real cases are shared as well. The practical proposal is made to minimize and/or migrate the risk of work-related injury and occupational illness.

Shanghai Jinshan HSE Association is formed by HSE professionals and chemical/fine chemical companies at Jinshan District of Shanghai. It is supported by Jinshan safety supervision authority, EPB, etc.
