As of 19th March 2012, Jin Mao P.R.C. Lawyers celebrated the execution of cooperative agreement with IWATA GODO Law Office, a reputable Japanese law firm based in Tokyo at 19th Floor, Sail Tower, 266 Hankou Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai. Both parties have introduced each history and discussed development orientation of the two firms friendly and harmoniously on the meeting. After the execution celebration, Japanese guests Mr. Takeuchi Yo, Mr.Shigeo Wakabayashi , Mr. Yoshihiro Toji and Mr. Hirotaka Uranaka have visited the new office of Jin Mao with the company of lawyers of Jin Mao PRC Lawyers.

IWATA GODO was founded by Chuzo Iwata, then Minister of Justice and the President of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations in 1902, say the firm has the considerable history of 100 years. The main office of the firm is located in Marunouchi Building in Chiyodaku, the central district of Tokyo.
