Partner Lawrence Ho and senior associate Jessica Xie from Jin Mao P.R.C. lawyers were invited to attend and witness the “Beneficiary Meeting of Taiping Asset’s Debt Investment Plan of Sichuan Highway Project” in Zhu Hai Guangdong Province on 13th May 2012.

This investment project, with funds raised in aggregate amount of around RMB 3 billion, was initiated and sponsored by Taiping Asset Management Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of China Taiping Insurance Group Company. The members of Jin Mao financial law sector provided full legal services to the project including the project analysis, due diligence, draft of investment documents and issuance of legal opinions.

Since the promulgation of the Interim Administrative Measures for the Use of Insurance Funds by Chinese Insurance Regulatory Commission in 2010, Jin Mao has served various insurance funds’ investment projects for quite few insurance asset management bodies.
