Organized by our law firm, the Bund Financial Law Forum 2012 was held successfully at Shanghai Peninsula Hotel on Nov. 1st , 2012. The forum was hosted by Shanghai Judicial Bureau, the People's Government of Huangpu District, Shanghai Bar Association, and co-organized by Shanghai Judicial Bureau of Huangpu District, Shanghai Huangpu District Financial Services Office and our law firm. Mr. Zhou Wei (the District Governor of Huangpu District), Mr. Wu Junying (the Director of Shanghai Judicial Bureau), Mr. Sheng Leiming (the President of Shanghai Bar Association) and other leaders and specialists appeared in the forum.

With the theme of “New Huangpu, New Finance”, the forum was proceeded with five topics. Mr. Jin Wenwei, Mr. Wan Bo and Mr. Wu Rongliang, three lawyers of our law firm, delivered speeches respectively in the topics of “Intellectual Property Finance Studied From Legal Perspective”, “Market Development and Legal Issues of Factoring” and “Legal Consideration of the Development of Carbon Finance”, followed by the professional opinions of our distinguished guests-Professor Ji Ligang (the Director of Financial Law Research Center and doctorial supervisor of Fudan University) , Ms. Ye Zhen (the Assistant Director of Foreign Investment Management Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce ), Mr. Tang Jie (the Deputy General Manager of Corporation Business Department of Shanghai Branch of Bank of Communications) and Mr. Qian Feng (the Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange ) .
The forum was presided over by Ms. Jin Yu, the famous hostess of CBN .Mr. Zhou Wei (the District Governor of Huangpu District) and Mr. Wu Junying (the Director of Shanghai Judicial Bureau) gave speeches and Mr. Sheng Leiming (the President of Shanghai Bar Association) presented closing speeches to the forum.

Leaders of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanghai Municipal Government, the Shanghai Financial Services Office, the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau and the Shanghai City Federation of Industry and Commerce attended the forum. The forum also attracted around 300 distinguished guests including specialists from the financial fields of the banks, securities companies, insurance companies, trust companies, environment and energy exchange, AMC, private equity investment fund, and the representatives from various .
