After returning from Japan, Mr. Yu is mainly engaged in legal services for establishment of foreign invested companies, corporate merger and acquisition etc. and has been retained as legal counsel by several Japanese-funded enterprises, participating in legal affairs regarding their asset restructuring, corporate M&A, economic trade, real estate and employment relationship etc.
In May 2002, Mr. Yu was qualified as Japanese legal practitioner and in June 2002, he was retained by Iwata Godo Attorney and Counselors at Law in Tokyo and served as legal counsel for about ten banks including Mizuho Corporate Bank, the largest bank in Japan and large-sized companies such as Mitsubishi Group. In order to provide multifaceted legal services for Japanese enterprises in both Japan and China, Mr. Yu commuted between Japan and China every month. Meanwhile, over the past three years, Mr. Yu has composed and published more than ten articles with regard to conclusion and performance of import and export trade and its purchase/sales contract, restructuring of domestic enterprises by utilization of foreign funds, acquisition of land use rights, real estate transaction and leasing, labor employment of foreign invested companies, Chinese justice mechanism and arbitration rules, features of new Company Law etc. in various influential magazines such as Japan’s “International Commercial Legal Affairs” and “Japanese-Sino Economic Monthly” etc.
